ABOUT ME

Hola! Me llamo Bumpei, sushi chef de Japón. Llevo 2 años y medio en Latín America entonces hablo español bastante. Me encantan la cultura y la gente aquí.
Ahora estoy viajando en Chile, el 66a país en mi viaje, conociendo el paisaje impresionante de Patagonia y buenos pescados y mariscos.
Si me quedo en tu casa, por supuesto te invito a mi sushi con pescados de acá!

Hi! My name is Bumpei, a Japanese traveler and sushi man. I did my 1st round the world trip from 2011 to 2013, and started the second round in 2015! I LOVE cooking and eating, and my dream is to know various foods in the world. That's why I started travelling. And I like to communicate with people as well.

So my current mission in the trip is...
+To meet many nice people.
+To cook Japanese food (not only sushi, I have +100 recipes).
+To learn how to cook local food.

If you like eating or cooking, or drinking, dancing,,, we can be good friends!!

PHILOSOPHY
To know each other across the word, it makes this world better.
Liberal. We don't live for system, low nor society. Systems exist for us.

And I always try enjoy everything I face.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I'm on a trip, so I'm always a suffer, and I met so many nice hosts. Thank you.
For me, CS is not a tool to find free beds, but to know each other with new people and communicate.
So I always try to give the hosts something. i.e. cooking food, teaching cooking, writing calligraphy, making origami,,,etc.
I really hope to host many tourists after I come back to Tokyo!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You know? I didn't know about CS before I started traveling. Unfortunately, it is not so pupular in Japan... I have to advertise it for friends :)

After I knew CS, I enjoyed to meet people as surfer. First experience is in Kazakhstan, then Estonia, Lithuania, Russia,,,

I cooked and enjoyed Japanese/Asian cuisine w/ hosts!
Sushi, Okonomi-yaki, Tamago-yaki, Onigiri, Pork ginger teriyaki, Tempura, Miso soup, Thai curry, Pakistan curry, Korean jeon, and special dishes for vegetarians/kids.
