To Market my painting and photography so I can earn enough money to return to Europe.

ABOUT ME
married to Steve. Have travelled to Europe 10 times. Been in at least 20 countries. Have hosted 10 exchange students.

ABOUT ME:
We attend non-denominational church.

I enjoy all kinds of people.

I usually travel solo.

I do not smoke or drink.
We allow smoking here, but outside only.

...We rescued an Italian Greyhound in 2007...named Marley. She was old, but very sweet...(2010 UPDATE) Sadly, we put Marley to sleep in December. She was 15 1/2
We now Two more Italian Greyhounds...
We also have two cats.

Hobbies and interests include: American football, photography, travel.

I love Lily-of the valley flower...the color green...and mexican food. Most food in general (except fish)...I am always on a diet, and need to be...LOL

I love to have conversations about most anything. One topic I PREFER NOT to dicuss (esp. in Europe) is Politics...I was in Europe when we (USA) went to Iraq, and it was a very uncomfortable thing. People everywhere were nice, but only wanted to tell me how much they hated President Bush.

I suffer from Lupus. It is an Autoimmune disease which is not fun!
My Heart, eyes, Lungs, & Kidneys are affected. It slows me down, but has not stopped me!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted 9 exchange students over the past 20 years, and would love to host travelers as well. I tell everyone I meet, especially in Europe, about this great site. I want to help keep CS2 around 100 more years!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Florence Italy(2005), and Paris France(2006).
In Mainz Germany (2007), Baden-Baden Germany (2007), London England (2007)

I have learned some things along the way...

1)If climbing 6 flights of stairs bothers you...be sure to ask if your Host/Hostess has a lift.
2)If you are not bringing a sleeping bag & towel be sure to find out if your Host/Hostess has blankets, sheets, pillows.

Wow! Too many to tell about. I savour all of my MEMORIES when I travel. I am so blessed by God for these rich experiences!

I did photograph the birth of a baby once....and I (with 6 others) dined at Dans le Noir in Paris. This is someting everyone must do. You dine completely in the dark, and your server is totally vision impaired (blind) and you cannot see your food in front of you!
