Hey I'm Hao, doing a PhD in Melbourne, yet not completely neutralized by massive scientific research. I'm an easy-going person, living a minimal and motivated life. I enjoy travelling around Asia, getting to know people and exploring the unknown.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In life we search inwards and outwards for truths. Couchsurfing offers a good platform for outward searching. I am here to meet people of enormous diversity, keeping my open-mindedness and broadening my horizon.

There are a wide spectrum of stuffs I am interested in, including weiqi (or Go, an ancient Chinese-rooted board game), marathon, karaoke.

I love jazz, enjoying the process of attempting to figure out classical music and indirect painting. I used to teach myself guitar, but my baby is not brought to Melbourne:(
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In October I finished my first full marathon in 3h48min. I had been training a lot before the race, even in my travel to NSW and QLD in September.
