ABOUT ME

I get that everyone and everywhere in the world is different: I like seeing the differences; it's that which makes life unique.

All we do in life is collect stories about each other, checking out the views on the way; it's what makes my journey worthwhile. Travel, for me, is about being part of something different, affecting the yet to be known in ways not even thought about. I like change, change is good. Just be nice, and hurt no one.

I may one day be the travel writer I've always wished of being, but I'm usually too distracted by the settings of other jewels in the world to remain still that long!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still working that one out. But, I think I take part by challenging the hate and intolerance bred from capitalist idealists disregarding any other value, of any other thing, in the world for the sake of greed. And not using the word 'god'. People are great; not gods.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing™ exists because of the internet. Immediate communication is an information luxury that not everybody has. I wonder how many CSer's would offer their free space to a local homeless person whose life story differs vastly from their own. I know I've not done it. But I will change that.

From obscene luxury in the Swiss Alps to a comedy of government imposed poverty, kindness comes only from those who give it, not where they are. I share moments, not just my furniture when it suits me; I like them to be great ones, wherever and however.
