Music, Movies, and Books
I like music that has ethnic elements, so like aboriginal musics, Jazz, Funk, Latin music, Rock, music from independent bands, music from musicals and opera singing. I don't have a favorite movie but I love watching movies (over drama). In college, my major was English. So I love English literature, ex: British lit, American lit, Shakespeare, Women's lit, detective novels. I would say that right now I try to learn Italian and German in order to read the literatures they have.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I have been on stage for musicals, ex: CATS, the King and I and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! I also made it to be an exchanged student in the US and survived in the northeast coast where there is fierce competition! Now I am doing an internship in Italy and will go to Germany to do working holiday! I want to be a global citizen!
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak Chinese and English fluently. I am learning German and Italian. After my internship finishes in the Italy, I am going to do woking holiday in Germany for a year. I plan to study German in a language school in Munich for 5-6 months and then start traveling and working.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can do language exchange with the host, and of course the culture behind the language! I can practice English and Chinese with the host, if I have the honor! Also, I can bring little gifts to the hosts that provide me housing and try to cook Taiwanese/Chinese food for the hosts! I can also provide travel tips and suggestions concerning Asian countries like Taiwan, China, Japan and S Korea.
