About Me

Hi!
I'm a young Aussie stretching his legs out in the world. Lived in London for 7 months, and now it's well and truly time to move on. Heading clockwise through Europe via hitchhiking (if I don't get murdered) until January, then off to South-East Asia 'til April, then working back at home in Brisbane until I have the money for a van to use to travel the East Coast.
Putting uni on hold because I'm terrifically lost and pathless.

I love reading and nature and getting to know new people. I do a lot of writing and some hiking. Always down for new experiences, which has gotten me into some odd situations in the past.

Ask if there's anything more you want to know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for fun hosts that are happy to have me crash on the floor for a night or two, especially those that wouldn't mind a little hang.

Interests

I write a lot. Short stories, novels, etc. A diary that I can't read because my handwriting is trash.

As for hiking, I haven't had the chance to do much here in London, but I had a good experience in Howth, and have had some great days in Australia in the Glasshouse Mountains.

Drinking I wouldn't call an interest but I'm very down for a good pint every now and then!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Catch-22, A Confederacy of Dunces, 1000 Years of Solitude.
Music: rocky (Gaslight Anthem, Mac Demarco, Kings of Leon, RHCP), Jack Johnson, Pete Murray, hip-hop (MF DOOM, Outkast, Vince Staples, Danny Brown, Kendrick), Jim Croce.
Movies: Catch me if you can, Jumper (guilty pleasure), all the Lord of the Rings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a very poor memory so I'll just pick something off the top of my head.

Free-camped beneath a castle in Bristol on a hill overlooking the whole city with one of my best friends and my girlfriend, after seeing a terrific Aussie band (Sticky Fingers!).
Nothing too special but it made for an amazing wake-up.
