About Me

Hello, my name is Humberto, but you can call me Beto!

I use to discribe myself as a creative, easygoing and friendly guy . I am also a party person. I really love nighlife, but I promisse I'll never make loud at your place, ok?

People say every single person has an infinite private universe that we can explore. We all have aspirations, goals, culture, food, traditons, politics, thoughts about life. So I already know my universe, now I want to expand this by knowing the other's universe.

This is my Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/HumbertoCarvalho

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I'm new here, looking forward to meeting new people!

That old story: No much money on my pockets and a huge desire to travel, so Couchsurfing came up to me as a good solution. But more than that, I want to meet people, know these people who is just like me. I want to visit some touristic places, but what I really want is an insider experience, I want to explore places that the host may suggest. I think life is all about learning, meeting people, hearing and telling stories and making friends,

Interests

Architecture, Arts (museums, theatre, street art, photography, and also I like to draw and do some amateur watercolor paints), I like graphic design, interior design and tattoos. I'm not much expert in cooking, but I do some good stuff. Politics is something of my interest, speacialy in this moment in Brazil.

For now I'm really into low consumerism, digital nomads, co-working, and other brand new and great concepts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to say I'm very bipolar when I'm in front of some question like that, because It's not ok to say that you "like everything". I mean, I can go for a trash stuff to a very incredible and conceptual thing in seconds.

Let's make it easyer with music:

MØ, Years & Years, Hercules & Love Affair, Mark Ronson, Robyn, Chet Faker, Flume, Brandon Flowers, Jungle, James Young, The Weekend, Amy Winehouse, Daft Punk, Diplo, Gossip, Bombay Bicycle Club, Madonna, M.I.A, Rhye, Solange, Disclousure, La Roux, Sky Ferreira, Pete Yorn, Aluna George, OH Wonder, Mapei, Vampire Weekend, Lily Allen, Rihanna, Lana del Rey, Blondie, Major Lazer, Yelle, Françoise Hardy, Drake, Rudimental, hOT Chip, The Two Bears, London Grammar, Karol Conká, Silva, Gal Costa, Elis Regina, Banda do Mar, Jaloo, Banda UÓ, Clara Nunes, Marina, Kid Abelha, Secos & Molhados, Rita Lee, Mc Guime, Bonde do Role, and so many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I've walked through the Avenue of the Dead and I've climbed the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, in Teotihuacan, Mexico (now is prohibited).

Teach, Learn, Share

I think travel reconnects us with ourselves and with the flow of the universe, make us feel alive , vibrant , curious , interested, surprised, grateful , lowly, as we should be everyday of our lives. Trips are teachers. A shortcut to be happy.
