Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its more than just free accommodation, thats just a side bonus. Its about getting out of hostels and hotels and actually meeting locals, exploring the city with them, learning more about their culture.

It's really cool to meet people around the world! Everyone has a different background and story, and I enjoy connecting with open minded people. I find it very exciting to find similarities amongst our differences. I also think it is great to know someone who is a local in the city, and I would appreciate any tourism suggestions you may have. I can also offer any if you come to Edinburgh (which you should - it is beautiful!!) . It would be even better if we could spend time in the city together, although I understand you may have other commitments.
