Overview
About Me
To be a revolutionist and an idealist - that is a promise to myself. Growing up in a tiring and stressful society, and gradually realizing how ridiculous the world actually works, I really hope to bring some changes to it - well of course i know changes start small and take time - so I will be humble and take my time: one step by a time :)
Something about me... hmmm... i would say i am quite a dynamic person, and I usually act in accordance to how the other person is - so I can be both a passionate talker and a patient listener, and be both fast-paced and laid-back.
I am currently a full-time English secondary school teacher in Hong Kong.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to be led by people who actually live their lives in the city where I am travelling - I always believe to truly understand and experience the culture, it has to been seen from the perspective of a local.
So just bring me around :)
If you are coming to Hong Kong, I will be very willing to do the same - bring you to the very local restaurants, shopping places, markets, parks, temples etc... to let you experience the local way of life :)
Interests
I love to be exposed by the different opinions and viewpoints of different people - that is why I love to listen to stories from others, and at the same time, share my stories, so to make a brilliant interaction happens :)
I enjoy immersing myself in deep thoughts, and it might sound odd, but i will actually spare some time to walk (or just to eat out alone) throughout the day - while walking, i can organize and make sense of the inspirations I had throughout the day.
Besides that, I like to work out, swim, ride a bike, watch movies, go to the theatre, kayak and sunbathe at the beach.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am open to music of different genres, or even different languages! You might be surprised to find me doing some simple beatboxing or dancing along with some songs that I even haven't heard of before!
I usually have two to three songs in my mind for some weeks, and they keep playing in my mind until I get too sick of them. Sounds weird, right?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteer trips to Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Mainland China - having the chance to actually teach the local students English there. This also confirms my ambition and what I really want to do in my life.
Conducted a one-hour seminar in front of around 50 latvian university students in a big lecture hall while I was still an undergraduate - and i was told to do so 30 mins before the lecture began *phew*
Teach, Learn, Share
Every chance of interaction and communication can be valuable, even it is only about the most trivial :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
All about me - you can just ask me anything :)
I am also very willing to be the maid at your home upon your request (cleaning, sweeping or any housework; and i really don't mind!)
