Kevin Kane is a Team Head of Quant Research Strategies at a Quant Hedge Fund in operation for more than 20 years.

Previously Kevin served as the founder & CEO of Claro Automata LLC, a semantic analytics application technology and quantitative finance company. Kevin previously co-founded the quantitive investment manager, Jumpgate Technologies. Kevin currently advises two natural language processing and semantic analytics technology centered startups: including the well-known MIT student founded startup, Lean On Me. Kevin is both a semantic analytics strategy driven quantitative trader and a tech entrepreneur.

Prior to starting and building technology companies, Kevin's experience ranges form emerging technology consulting and enterprise sales, econometric research and analysis in academia, and 6.9 years of United States Army service as a soldier and Non-Commissioned Officer in units ranging from the 101st Airborne Division to 2nd and 3rd Infantry Divisions between 1998 and 2005.

Kevin possess a B.A. in Political Science, an M.A. in International Studies with a distracted concentration energy economics and econometrics.
