Overview
About Me
I'm an Englishman abroad (but the good type). I've lived in lots of places over the years and travelled pretty extensively, and like meeting people. It's always interesting to see other people's views on things.
Interests
I play a lot of music. Although I don't travel with a menagery of musical instruments, I normally have my whistle on me somewhere. I'm more of a Celtic music guy, although I'm getting into classical and some other styles now.
I read books on pretty much anything. I think that a book is a journey in itself, giving you the chance to speak to a person from a different time and who haset totally different people. It teaches you far more about life than you could find out alone.
That dovetails onto the last point. Learn a language, open a facet of existence to yourself. You become a bit more clear and free about life when you see more perspectives on things. Of course, you can't do that forever. You have to settle down after a while. But you can at least settle down with a slightly more broad view on the world.
