About Me
Hello! I'm a student from the USA, specifically Indiana, currently living in Baltimore. I study international studies and French, Russian, and Latvian languages. I love to travel, explore nature and cities, and I love to meet people from all over. I'm obsessed with languages, I like to try new foods and drinks, and I'd love to show you around Baltimore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people anywhere, and from anywhere, and I'm really hoping to meet people who speak other languages so that we can practice/you can teach me a little of yours!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop music, folk music, be that Latvian or Estonian folk music, American country music, German, central African, Asian, etc.
As far as books go, I'm very into the classics, and I love a good discussion about literature. I've read a lot of American & Russian literature, but I'm always looking for new recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This summer I lead a group of high school students on a five-day canoeing trip in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota and Ontario. But the story gets quite dramatic...I'd love to give you the details in person!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My language skills! and very happy to share music and literature recommendations. I also love to cook! So I'd be super happy to make some good ol' American barbecue chicken or homemade burgers for a host. I also make a pretty killer lemon rice soup, potato soup, and some desserts.
