Overview
About Me
I feel the need to travel now that I am getting older, as I have been putting this off for many years. I'm looking to meet and learn from new people and improve my life. I like to hear their stories of life experiance and traveling. I have just made my first trip which was not planned very much so I do know the value of local peoples knowledge and friendship.
I am planning my first cycling backpacker trip around Europe for next year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on a life improvement journey so doing lots of things outside my comfort zone which includes connecting with new people. I've recently bought a three bedroom house so I would like to have people round and accommodate guests.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a comfortable house in a nice historic area (UNESCO World Heratige Site) with good links to major cities. I am keen to show people my town but happy to let guests do their own thing.
I am very close to the canal which is a great for a relaxed cycle ride, or guests can walk if they prefer. I have some extra bicycles for people to use.
