Overview
About Me
I was born in Syberia, then I moved to Ural (it is in the middle of Russia) and now I am living in Saint Petersburg. So I can really say that I know Russia pretty well and can tell a lot about it! I am a literature major student at the only Liberal arts faculty in Russia (Saint Petersburg State University, Smolny faculty), junior. Right now I'm studying at Bard college as an exchange student. I love playing the guitar, singing. I am also interested in Jewish studies and American culture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love travelling! As an exchange student I have one in a lifetime opportunity to combine my two favorite things in the world - studying and travelling! But also as a student I don't really have a lot of money, so couchsurfing is a great opportunity to find a cheap way to see different places and meet people to share my experience with!
Interests
I love literature and films and can talk about them for a long time, especially about literature because I am a literature major. Also, I am really interested in different cultures and religions! My special interest lies in Jewish culture and Judaism, I am a little bit knowledgable about it and would love to discuss it. American culture is also a great topic, I am studying it too and want to know something about it from Americans themselves. I love singing and playing the guitar.

I can share my travelling experience. I can cook some traditional Russian dishes. I love singing and playing the guitar, so if you want to spend an evening listening to music and singing along, it would be great!
