About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to be world's most fashionable backpacker
ABOUT ME
big hair=big fun.
traveling is definately a passion but i'm supposed to be the worst bakpacker! literally: i take too many clothes ("you never know what you end up doing..."??? seriously when i went to china, i accidentely packed my clean laundry-white trousers and some funky dresses and shirts- iso my black trousers and dark sweater! but china was big fun anyway!).
now i succeed with a tiny backpack that contains mainly washingsoap!!!. just wear the same shirt everyday. as long as i don't smell fishy it'll be ok.
i'm a fashion addict (that's where the packing goes wrong);
food food food! i love eating and cooking;
i loved living in bangkok, the bigger the city, the more i feel alive.
i've lived in sri lanka: mini village unawatuna in the south and nong khai, in rural, north-east thailand, and i know for sure: i like cities!
being back in my own cute city is really nice! and my house is like my city: old and sooo pretty!
in my minigarden i read too many books (am a little bit nerdy as well, but that's because i studied literature); on the road i always take public transportation: it's the best way to find out things about the country you're in and i always end up getting food and smiles. of course here i usually use my bicycle...
i enjoy cinema and musea and malls and local markets all at the same time.
PHILOSOPHY
changes everyday. just like my hair. usually involves food and new plans to make life even more enjoyable.

Music, Movies, and Books
i have a degree in literature, luckily i love most i've read so far!
the curious incident of the dog in the night-time (mark haddon), 1984, clockwork orange, platform (houellebecq), coetzee, tirza (grunberg), anything by jacques hamelink, 'de avonden'(gerard reve), anything from jan wolkers, thomas pynchon, even cowgirls get the blues, the house of leaves, vernon god little, max havelaar (after 17 times it gets funny, for real).
princess mononoko, spirited away, nausicaa of the valley of the wind, waltz with bashir, amelie, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, being john malkovic, virgin suicides, kids, city of god, donnie darko, resevoir dogs, lost in translation (happens to me a lot) but absolutely no scary movies!
jazz/soul/hiphop/pop/elevator music/karaoke/bob marley/thaipop/kpop ^__^
+ anything from prince (i used to plan to marry him), david bowie
currently i plan to marry (korean superstar) rain.
