I'm Ilenia (I do prefer Ile), an Italian creative, curious and friendly girl who loves to travel the world, have fun, meet new people and learn about other cultures.

During my solo trip, I've met wonderful people and I have had unforgettable moments and experiences.

I am an ex-journalist, that's probably why I love so much to travel and to tell and listen stories.
Now, I'm working in Milan as an Event Manager and Coach, how I ended up in this is another story ;)

I'm eager to know as many open minded people as possible, because I think sharing experiences and different point of views is the best way to learn from each other.

I love CS and the people on it. It's the best community I've ever have been in.
There's no prejudice, no racism, no hatred, just curious people with stories to share and that's what the world need most.
This is a community where the differences are a big plus, isn't that really amazing?

I've met so many wonderful people thanks to Couchsurfing and I've learnt so much!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm a very good listener and I listen every kind of genre (except maybe for the raggaeton - I'm sorry Bob, nothing personal! ;) ) I can dance - very badly but who cares - on pop, commercial, country, elettro-techno music. I mean, give me something and I'll throw some stupid move on the dance floor.

I can sing - again, badly - every song. Put me in a Karaoke bar and I can show it.
But I love Pink Floyds, The Beatles, Queen, Franco Battiato, Adriano Celentano, Raffaella Carrà, Lucio Dalla, Lucio Battisti. I think I would have been very happy in the 80s.

For books, I can not choose one, I love Classics, not a fan of fantasy.
Love Luigi Pirandello, Jane Austen, Baudelaire and so many more.

For Movies, once, in Scotland, my host asked me which one was my favourite. I didn't expect that question and I immediately replied Notting Hill. We ended up watching that because he didn't know the movie. Let's say that it wasn't exactly his cup of tea. It was a very funny evening and I still laugh about it and I hope he does that too!

Best tv series ever done: The Nanny (if you haven't watched it, you must, it's hilarious!), Friends, The Big Bang theory and Grace and Frankie. Yeah, I really like to laugh!

I don't think I have something special to teach, I am more eager to learn something new from your story.

I would love to listen all of your interesting stories and to share mine, if you want.

If you want, I can teach you how to and where to roller-skate in the city, or to play volleyball. I am not a chef, so I can not teach you how to make a carbonara, but I can definitely show the best places to eat great food.

I can also show the best places to be at, where the good vibes are.
