Overview
About Me
I'm on a journey to more connection in every aspect of life: Between people, to nature, the environment and myself. I try to achieve this by being open-minded and open-hearted wherever I go. I try to live as sustainable and regionally anchored as possible, I'm involved with a lot of community projects and I hope to soon be able to grow a good portion of my own food.
I'm very practical and hands-on person. I like building and fixing things.
I also tend to plan out every little detail of a journey - that's why I love things like couch surfing that hold the element of good luck and chance encounters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It strenghtens my faith in humanity: All over the world, hosts welcome perfect strangers from all walks of life into their home and find new friends in them. No money is involved, only generosity and the will to pay it forward.
"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
(Mary Oliver)
This quote continues to inspire me.
Life is full of adventures and couch surfing surely adds of that!

Music, Movies, and Books
After all these years, I'm still a Harry Potter nerd and I think Aang the Last Airbender is one of the best and most beautiful stories ever.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Never having left Europe before, in a spur of a moment I decided to go to India: I had been picking oranges in a Sicilian farm and a fellow wwoofer had filled my head with talks of the fantastic place she'd just come back from after a year of living there. So in the span of two weeks I got a passport, a visa and a ticket to this place and spent the following weeks planting trees in Tamil Nadu while living in palm huts and cooking food over the fire for the amazing volunteer community there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I learn from every encounter that I have with people, especially in new and foreign contexts. I love to listen to and share stories and insights.
Back home, I teach gardening courses for children and nature/outdoor skills.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories of my travelling, my insights, my aspirations, my endless motivation. Really good listening skills. And cooking skills, if so desired! (I love cooking and eating together)
