Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was in North Korea, this past March, I got the travel bug, and haven't looked back. I'm on a journey to become the youngest to travel to every country in the world. Traveling can be expensive, so surfing on your couch would for sure help!

If you think we align, and enjoy intellectually debating international topics, than it'd be great to stay on your coach, share travel stories, and explore around your city!

Interests

Having long conversations on politics and talking to others on the meaning of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge fan of Harry Potter. On June 28 and 29 I watched Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theater in London. Personal tiers were unleashed three times throughout the first part of the play. Much of the book can truly reflect to peoples lives. The eighth book of the series is nothing like the first seven books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Within the Boy Scouts of America, I personally committed to earning every merit badge offered within the program. Throughout this journey, leaders would caution me, thinking I would burn out; however, their remarks accelerated my desire to overcome these hurdles and achieve my goal. In 2011, I earned every merit badge, and entered into a group of 177 scouts nationally to have achieved this goal of attaining knowledge from 131 different fields of interest. I am extremely proud I overcame these challenges and distinguished myself among my peers.

Scouting serves as a vehicle to intensifying my desire to improve the quality of our society. I believe there is an overemphasis on competition for profitability, resulting in the economic and social exploitation of humanity. In my experience, I know that this competitive model is both shortsighted and self-defeating.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been privileged to have a supportive family, spirited friends, and strong guiding morals that have allowed me to develop a well-rounded foundation. This has accelerated my character growth in leadership, teamwork, and verbal communication, as well as my interest in conservation, cultural awareness, and ethical values.

Since age four, I have been cast in eighteen local theater productions including a number of leads. A highlight was being cast in a three season local TV production, “Scoop”. These experiences of theater opened up my world of imagination and creative thought, therefore creating a sense of fearlessness in front of large audiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a down to earth, genuine person, I truly enjoy connecting with people.

Be true to yourself, follow your passion, and continuously grow into a stronger person than the day before.
