About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn about the world, mainly people and politics.
I want to help!
ABOUT ME
"Why" is my favorite world.
(Why are people fighting? Why do you live here? Why did Obama win the Peace Prize?)
I want to know about what's happening in our world but I think we need more than theory, we need to meet people and experience the results of the legislations.
Also I'm very adventureus :)
I always try to go places I've never been before. Walk a different way home from work, order the craziest meal on the menu (and eat all of it) or experiment on the kitchen (and now I can make cakes and drinks in my job). Overall I like to do stuff I haven't already done.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because I believe the best way to learn is by talking. Talk about what we experience and feel about our experiences. I want to met you!
Interests
My interests is anything that is different from what I'm used to! I love people with an opinion.
I like to feel the nature around me. Hiking, tenting, fishing, sailing...
It's always enjoyable to walk by myself and look at the strange world we live in. People are interesting no matter what.
I also care about the earth we live on. I don't know how to put it in to words, but I want my children to grow up in a better world than the one it looks like we're going to leave them. By this I include the environment but also the harmful and prejudice habits of people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading all types of books, depending on my mood. For relaxing I prefer fantasy/fiction (like Harry Potter). For long bus rides an interesting book about life can keep me trapped for hours. Like the books from Paulo Choelo or Jostein Gaarder (author of "Sophie's world"). Also books that helps me see the society from a new angel is interesting to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailed a part of costal Norway in a Viking ship for 3 weeks. We sailed the traditional way, meaning no electricity and the toilet was either a bucket or over the side of the boat.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about handwork like different types of knitting and braiding technics. If you want, I can plat your hair :)
I can sail a traditional Viking ship and a "normal" yacht (I've sailed more than 3000 sea miles). If you have a boat I'll gladly be a part of your crew :)
I can bake a lot of cakes!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Let me make you a meal! Traditional, vegetarian or vegan. I especially love cakes.
Do you need anything fixed? I can help you paint a wall or stitch that hole in your shirt. I can braid your hair or help you organize anything. Milk a cow or move sheep. Sail a boat or fix ropes. You need only ask!
