ABOUT ME
I am a very passionate person who tries to catch what is poetic about each little sign in life. Literature and nature are my refugee when I have the feeling things are getting too hard. Travelling is a way to open my eyes to Beauty in the world. I love learning new languages and meeting foreign people. This makes me feel alive.
PHILOSOPHY
"On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux". Antoine de St Exupéry, Le Petit Prince.
We truly see with our heart. The Essential is invisible for the eyes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I welcomed several persons and it went all very well. I also attended a CS meeting in Beauvais. Thanks to that I met most of the people I know in Beauvais! I lastly began to travel with CS. When it worked it has been a very great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: it is a way to open my mind to the world and feel it very deeply. I listen mostly to classical music for myself. I am particularly keen on the baroque period (it goes with my passion for this historical period). Nonetheless, when I am with people, I enjoy hip-hop, world music and rock (not too hard!)
But I am easy going, and as soon as the company is good, I can listen to nearly everything. I got used to adapt!
Books: pèle-mêle: Jude the Obscure (Thomas Hardy), Die Letzte Welt (Chritstoph Ransmayr), The Go-Between (LP Heartley), Ovid, Homer, Virgil, Shakespeare, André Gide, Paul Valéry, George Sand, Diderot, Rabelais, Molière, Racine, Saint-Simon, and so many others....
Movies: many many, mostly independent cinema, French movies, anything that is beautiful and true, even if hard sometimes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's not very spectacular, but each time one of my pupils succeed in doing something that was very hard for him, is a little miracle. However, I'd love to experiment more breathtaking things ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French (literature and language), French cuisine, and I am looking for whatever you can teach me. Mostly exchanging about a new culture and another way of seeing life.
