ABOUT ME

I am from Ukraine, but since 16 years old I have been traveling around and living in different places. Currently I live and study in Lithuania, Klaipeda; but soon it will change since I graduate in a month! I believe that a person can get to know one’s culture through their food, so when I travel I like to try new foods, hang out with local people, and explore the city while walking around. I am a coffee addict, love Thai food, and appreciate good wine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think Couchsurfing is great! I am not as active of a participant now, but I hope that changes over time, since after graduation I will hopefully get my own place and will be able to host people! At this point when staying at one's place I am trying to experience a different culture to its fullest and share my own as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had not so many, but always good Couchsurfing experiences. It was always my friend Yulia and I together to stay at awesome people’s homes (in Barcelona and Berlin). Unfortunately, since the time I became a part of Couchsurfing, I was not able to host anyone since I live in the dorm.

Intereses

Getting to know people (especially, different religions and philosophies of life), cooking with friends, reading (classics and modern), organizing events, love speed (weird, because I still did not get my driver’s license) and heights. These are just some of many..

Algo increíble que he hecho

I believe that amazing and striking things are still ahead of me =). Hitchhiking experiences were always fun and truly awesome. For me, New York was a breathtaking city. And eating traditional Ethiopian meal in an Ethiopian family was really unique and amazing (never in my life have I eaten so much raw meat =)).
