!!! Currently I'm doing an exchange semester in Kyoto and since I live in a guesthouse unfortunately I'm not able to host. till when I was seven, “home” was the place where I was living with my parents. then I started to have two houses. I changed several of them. the house by the sea became the one where I was living the whole year. during the vacation, home was a tent, and moved every two or three days. when I was fourteen I decided to go back to live in the first one where I lived. then I moved again the following year. sometimes my friends's homes were mine. when I was “in love” I wasn't ever at home. the last summer I finished school and in september I flew to Berlin. and here find a house isn’t easy. I changed five houses in seven month. I lived alone and with so many different people. I’ve hosted strangers in flats that weren’t mine, feeling at home more then in every place where I lived before. home for me? for sure is not a place. -text from the addmission video i've made for my university. you can see it here: https://vimeo.com/133759590 instagram: delvairene www.delvairene.com
