CURRENT MISSION
Trying to become a tourist guide in Granada
ABOUT ME
I'm a Spanish girl from Granada (Andalusia) who was teaching Spanish in Russia . I've been living in Russia for 5 years and I spent one year in Estonia as a Erasmus student. This experience of living abroad has made me more open-minded and encouraged me to travel more and to not judge people or different cultures or traditions. Recently I started to travel alone and I must say that it's much better than I expected! But of course I also like traveling with friends or relatives :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love traveling and it's a perfect way to meet people who can share their traveling experiences with you. It's also a way to know one culture or one country much better by staying with someone or meeting a local who can show you around and tell you interesting stories. I still don't have much experience about hosting people, but I've stayed with couchsurfers and I have met people to show them the city where I am at that moment (usually Granada).
Interests
I love traveling and I enjoy learning new languages, although my favourite language is Russian. I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting so if I love languages of course I had to study something like that :) I also like cooking, trying different foods I can not find in my country, going to the movies, meeting with my friends, reading, watching TV series and cold weather :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost all kind of music, but I don't like reggaeton or country music. I like Russian literature and my favourite author is Fyodor Dostoevsky. My favourite movies are The Godfather, American Beauty, Pulp Fiction, Goodbye Lenin, The English Patient, The Pianist, Moscow Doesn't Believe in Tears, Amelie, Dersu Uzala, Dancer in the Dark, All About My Mother, Mystic River, Amores Perros, etc. I also like Stanley Kubrick's movies. But I also watch a lot of TV series. My favourite ones are The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, Friends, Black Mirror, True Detective, or Fringe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Buying a plane ticket to Argentina all of a sudden just because the ticket was very cheap and without having any idea about what I was going to do there. This may sound silly for some people, specially for those who are used to travel very often, but in that moment that was something completely new to me and I almost had never traveled alone. I must say that this experience was great and since that moment, I want to travel this way :D.
Teach, Learn, Share
Unfortunately I can not host anyone but I can meet up and show Granada. I can share my funny stories about having lived in such a unknown country as Russia. I can talk about Spanish history or traditions, or about my experience as a Erasmus student. I can talk about my trips, about places I want to visit, about movies, books... I can talk almost about any topic... But specially what I like about CS experience is everything I can learn with the people I meet and the new friends I can make.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very quite and clean person and of course, I will follow the rules of the host's house about timing, etc. I can share my stories, teach Spanish language or how to cook something Spanish... or I can directly cook something :)
