Hello! I'm Irina from Ukraine.

There are three things that inspire me in my life:
1) People – they are so different, everyone having the whole universe inside them. Meeting a new
person can always give you something good and teach you some important things.

2) Languages – I have been a teacher for several years, so I like learning and I also like sharing knowledge. Especially when you need to be creative and
find the simple ways to convey the information.

3) Creativity – in my opinion, it is our distinguishing feature as the human beings. It is not only
about art but also about being innovative in problem-solving and seeing the life from different
angles.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and books with unpredictable plot, or those that make you think and feel empathy with the characters. For example, The Kite Runner or Shantaram.
I also like reading some non-fiction books about neuroscience and genetics. It's really amazing to learn how our brain and body works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cannot choose just one thing that was wonderful for me. I did motor hangliding, drifting in a sportcar, riding a horse in the mountains, making pottery, painting a big picture without any skills, saving turtles while volunteering in Turkey, hitchhiking without language/map/translator, etc. And I am always open to new experiences.
I also saw so many beautiful things that made me happy, like sunrise near the sea or sunset in the mountains.
