About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eat cheese, look at art, and drink wine!
I am now a little over one month into a very long trip. I want to see the world from different sides—as a tourist (which I can’t avoid!), and as a participant by doing workaway and Couchsurfing. I am excited to work and learn with people from all over the world.
Currently I’m planning on making my way from Torino to Lisbon from August 1-6. I will be traveling through Portugal for the rest of August. Then I will spend a week in Toulouse before heading to Scotland on September 7 to do workaway!
ABOUT ME
A couple years out of university (studying Music and English). I've since been studying and practicing astrology. I love animals, food, music, meeting new people, and cracking bad jokes.
PHILOSOPHY
I'll figure it out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My Couchsurfing experiences so far have been so fulfilling. I have gotten to know new neighborhoods in cities I thought I knew. In places where I didn’t even speak the language, I still was able to connect with so many kind people who wanted to show me why they loved their city and country. Couchsurfing is a model of why and how I want to travel: to get past the photographs and legends of a city and get to know its true treasures.
Interests
I'm an astrologer (if you give me a place to sleep I'll tell you what the stars have in store for you!). I love music, movies, food, and games. When I travel I like to experience local art, look at old buildings, and people watch.

Music, Movies, and Books
Joni Mitchell, Mitski, Joanna Newsom, Fleetwood Mac, and many more. I love folk music and jazz but I studied classical music as well. I can’t really say no to any music!
I like scary movies and comedies but my heart belongs to the classics!
I love a lot of books. Poetry is my favorite genre but I think my favorite author is Virginia Woolf.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a mountain and I turned around ~
Really though, singing has brought me closer to so many people and places (including myself). Singing with friends around a campfire, performing choral pieces in beautiful churches with amazing acoustics, or just singing to myself while looking at a beautiful view. It can feel like a small gift sometimes, but music has been an amazing companion throughout my life :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to teach about music and astrology, or to offer writing tips! I'm also a great vegetarian cook and am always happy to share dinner with new friends!
I love to learn about new languages and cities. I'm also always excited to hear about what people are passionate about! Whether it's a creative project or a new job or a weird dream, I love to listen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, astrology, laughter, wine, excitement.
