It's possible to gain conscious control of your dreams by mental discipline and technique; lucid dreaming is great. The holes in a microwave's door screen are that size because the energy is physically too big to fit through them. The theory of relativity assumes four dimensions, while quantum mechanics postulates eleven. We can only truly comprehend three. You can stabilize a punctured lung with duct tape and a plastic card.
