Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I think CouchSurfing is a great project. I hitchhiked across the US, from Vermont to California in the summer of '99. Everyone told me it was dangerous and strangers were not to be trusted. In all my years of hitch hiking I've never had a bad experience. It's true I wouldn't encourage my sister to hitchhike alone, but CouchSurfing, like hitch hiking, is a testament to the general goodness of human beings COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My wife, Alice Driver, is a more active couch surfer and mostly we use her profile to host and surf.
