I am a 22 year old German student and had the amazing chance to come to Kenya to write my final thesis. Now that all the work is done, I want to travel my last month to explore the beauty of East Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I strongly believe that places are great because of the people we meet there. Couchsurfing is a unique way to meet locals who share the secrets about their cities and usually have the best places to go. Further, it is great to learn about their culture and their story.

On the other hand, I also like to share my background with them. Usually I will make a delicious German cake or prepare a dinner to say thank you and spend some fun time with my kind hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago, I set myself the goal to live on every continent. 4 down, 2 to go.
All the places I have been shaped me into who I am today, but it is not just the places. My favorite saying is 'The best things in life are the places we have been, the people we love and the memories we made along the way.' Because what would all those amazing experiences be if you do not share them with (new) friends? :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am just in Nairobi for a very limited time and only have a small room in a shared house. Unfortunately I cannot host surfers myself, but I am always up to participate in Couchsurfing events to meet fun people!
