Overview
About Me
I love to share a hearty laughter, bring humor into conversations and situations, meet new people, experience cultural nuances and particularities. I am highly interested in art and history (I find "Cubism" and "Impressionism" as really fascinating art genres among others...)
I love indulging into nature photography and do adventure/outdoor sports. I find true calling in nature exploration and that feeling when you just seem to let yourself be into the lap of the natural ecosystem that emits irresistible aura.
Oh, and I really love immersing myself into reading as a calming and intellectual experience (nature, buddhism, anthropology, science, politics, ecology, sustainability...)
I strive to keep myself open minded and reflected.
Always up for creative cooking, curious about new cuisines and cultural aspects of various dishes and ingredients.
I truly enjoy learning new languages. I believe that life is a wholesome journey and is worth every bit of the experience if you learn how to share it with others and learn from them.
My travel diary includes some really lovely experiences in-
* Iceland (Reykjavik, Akureyri, Husavik)
* Scandinavia (Lapland, Helsinki, Copenhagen)
* Azores Archipelago
* Portugal (Algarve region, Porto, Lisboa)
* Switzerland (Luzern, Geneva, Interlaken, Bern)
* Spain (Costa Brava, Malaga)
* Poland (Zakopane, Szczecin)
* France (Marseille)
* Italy (Florence, Rome, Torino)
* Germany (Freiburg, Harz, Rostock, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Potsdam, Dresden, Frankfurt)
* Austria (Innsbruck, Vienna)
* Netherlands (Keukenhof, Amsterdam)
* USA (New York, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Baltimore, San Francisco, Palo Alto)
Some of my memorable hiking experiences include: Arctic hiking in Rovaniemi in December 2018, Chembra Mountain (Kerala, India), Manali (Himalayas), Black Forest (Triberg, Germany), Brocken Mountain (Harz, Germany), Königstein Fortress (Sächsische Schweiz), Mount Pilatus (Luzern, Switzerland)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that Couchsurfing provides a really thoughtful platform for a rich cultural exchange and helps one appreciate the global diversity. It presents a unique opportunity to exchange interesting experiences and stories with different people from different walks of life. Engaging in common hobbies, e.g. cooking together only makes it all the more interesting. And I believe it is a really humbling experience to make someone feel at home.
If Couchsurfing is not one of the most wonderful ways towards knowledge enrichment and sharing, then what is? :-)

Teach, Learn, Share
From my experience playing Badminton for a few years now, I have realized that getting the backhand shot right is not easy and often unintuitive. I can teach how to ease into it :)
From my passion of languages and linguistics, I can share my learnings and experiences with diverse languages - language origins, forms, dialects and how I make language learning fun.
I would also be really happy to share my learnings on minimalism, circular economy and design thinking.
Besides that, I am quite open to learning something new from you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting things about my culture including different cuisines, customs and traditions, engage in common hobbies/interests, and my travel stories. I really love cooking and would be more than glad to cook some delicious meals, sometimes original, sometimes more of fusion cooking style :)
I am also really happy to help my hosts with household work.
Last but not the least, enjoy meaningful and interesting conversations over some drinks...
