ABOUT ME

Enneagram Dominant 9w8 sx/so/sp, INTJ, Aries, Metal Monkey, Pitta Vatta, kinesthetic learner, politically disillusioned, spiritually comprehensive, sees 90% of life through my right eye, eats 98% vegan but does not expect you to, meditates daily, hikes regularly and needs to do more of it, prefers cats to dog, wakes up early and goes to bed late, sleeps deeply and has no sense of direction. I consider the world to be my playground, my classroom, my laboratory and ultimately my responsibility. I know that i am part of something much greater than myself and that is supremely humbling and incredibly relieving all at once.

By opening my home to fellow wanderers and seekers when I am able. By exploring the familiar and unfamiliar, interior and world-ly terrains that maximize the diversity of experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love this community, this philosophy, this movement and this organization. I wrote my thesis on the relationship between travel and transformation and CS played an integral role in this research. I practice the art of transforming through travel and traveling through transformation and CS has been a great resource and service for the cultivation of this practice!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

snowmobiled to the summit of Mount Shasta. island hopped in Puget Sound. traversed the northern eurasian continent by public transportation. a bunch of sweeping loops around china and got into a scuffle with a surly primate on Mt. Emei. got into a bike accident on the mean streets of thailand. got my toe nibbled on by a giant rat in a lao bamboo hut. repelled down a waterfall in vietnam. admired breathtaking sunsets from the beaches of the carribean. slid down sand dunes in the mongolian gobi. got whacked by a sage branch in a piping hot banya in russia. got into my first fight in turkey (and asserted my boundaries ;O). scaled Mt. Olympos in greece. lived in a 2,000 year old converted former roman crypt in italy. buried my 30 year old newly shorn locks in Death Valley on my 30th birthday.
