About Me

I'm a kind of shy girl who's been trying to be more outgoing since forever. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. So at first I might not be very talkative but once I get comfortable it gets better. Believe me, I'm interest in having a conversation, I just don't know how! Don't give up on me!

I'm a freelance graphic designer as well as a part time restaurant administrator - and I can barely cook to save my life but boy I do like food. I'll try anything weird and I love getting to know someone's favorite dishes or restaurants! I don't even believe you have really known a place if you don't eat something very traditional from that place - and from a non-touristic place.

I live for pop culture. Yes let's talk about movies, tv shows, books, board games, sci-fi and how it all connects with out world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to broad my horizons, know new people, being less of an introvert

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm still listening to 2000's emo music so I guess you could say music is a hard subject for me.

But movies and books! I live for this. Especially fantasy and sci-fi - i grew up with Harry Potter and it opened up the world for me. Love A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, pretty much all comic books movies and tv shows and so many more! And besides that yeah, I also still am watching Grey's Anatomy and I love The OC. If it's pop culture count me in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on an exchange program to Oregon when I was 16 - super weird and shy. Yeah high school was a bit hard but I've met some of the most amazing people in my life and my host family ended up feeling like my real family.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not specifically good at anything but I'll try my best to share my visions and ideas with you.

OH I just remembered- I actually make a killer ice cream and brigadeiro pie.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Plenty of recommendations of what to watch, what to read and if it is somewhere I have already been, where to eat. And I might be carrying some quick board or card game with me!
