ABOUT ME

Comencé un proyecto orgánico aquí y también tengo perfiles de workaway, helpx y wwoof Chile para voluntarios aquí. Soy de los Estados Unidos y viví en Chile durante los últimos 5 años. Mi español está bien, pero mi Chileno es ma o meno, no ma. Soy vegetariano y no fumador. Enseñé Kundalini yoga e inglés, pero ahora dedico un gran parte de mi tiempo a la agricultura orgánica, investigación funcional y medios alternativos de sustento y educación. Tengo una pequeña granja en Isla Tabon (Isla Tabon), acceso de lancha desde Calbuco. Isla Tabon es una pequeña isla en el Golfo de Ancud, al este de la gran isla de Chiloé. El primer paso para llegar a la Isla es llegar a Calbuco. Se trata de una hora en lancha a la Isla de Calbuco. Generalmente hay un lancha al día que sale de Calbuco a Isla Tabon en la tarde, excepto el sábado. Luego está a media hora a pie de la granja. No hay autos, pero hay electricidad. Hay acceso a Internet por celular pero no hay Wi-Fi. Aquí en la Isla estamos iniciando un proyecto orgánico en 3 fincas en la Isla. A través de las prácticas orgánicas y la conciencia, nos estamos organizando para trascender los límites del pensamiento convencional y las prácticas que están creando graves desequilibrios en todo el planeta. Estamos construyendo la base y la infraestructura para una manera de vivir conscientemente con la Madre Tierra. Damos la bienvenida a todos los que están llamados a contribuir conscientemente al proyecto orgánico. I started an organic project here and I also have profiles on workaway, helpx, and wwoof Chile for volunteers here. I have am from the US and I lived in Chile for the past 5 years. My Spanish is ok, but mi Chileno es ma o meno, no ma. I am a vegetarian and a non-smoker. I taught Kundalini yoga and English but now I devote much of my time to organic agriculture, functional research and alternative means of sustenance and education. I have a small farm on Isla Tabon (Tabon Island), access by boat from Calbuco. Isla Tabon is a small Island in the Gulf of Ancud, east of the big Island of Chiloe. The first step in coming to the Island is to arrive in Calbuco. It’s about one hour by boat (lancha) to the Island from Calbuco. Generally there is one boat a day leaving from Calbuco to Isla Tabon in the afternoon, except on Saturday. Then it’s about a half hour walk to the farm. There are no cars but there is electricity. There is internet access by cell phone but no Wi-Fi. Here on the Island we are starting an organic project on 3 farms on the Island. Through organic practices and awareness, we are organizing to transcend the limits of the conventional thinking and practices that are creating severe imbalances throughout the planet. We are building the foundation and infrastructure for a way of living consciously with Mother Earth. We welcome all who are called to consciously contribute to the organic project. We also appreciate any donations of, functional housewares (no plastic), tools, furniture, beds, blankets or construction materials that you are willing to donate. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet people and experience other cultures. I host people when I have the chance, but often traveling or out in the desert talking to rocks and lizards. CS is a really great project and has helped me tremendously, especially when traveling abroad. I studied anthropology and philosophy but seek to be more of a participant than just an observer.
Me gusta conocer gente y conocer otras culturas. Puedo alojar gente cuando tengo la oportunidad, pero a menudo de viaje o en el desierto hablando con rocas y lagartos. CS es un gran proyecto y me ha ayudado muchísimo, especialmente cuando se viaja al extranjero. Estudié antropología y filosofía, pero trato de ser más de un participante que un simple observador.
