About Me

CURRENT MISSION

i am a physician by profession but i havent practiced my career for the time being for some valid reasons (trust me when i say its valid! haha!), hence i will spend my free times for now, in every opportunity i can get, to travel and travel and travel.

ABOUT ME

A Doctor by profession.
A traveller/explorer/adventurer by passion.
A cook/baker by hobby.
A thrill-seeker.
A free-spirited being.
He who loves the Sea, Sun and Sand.
I indeed am a Traveller, but not really a BackPacker, BUT, i enjoy doing BackPacking from time to time.
i have been to many places, experience different cultures and made friends with many along the way, but my thirst for having more is quite unquenchable.

PHILOSOPHY

the world is so vast, it needs to be explored. you will never really know whats on the other side, unless you go there yourself, hence, i travel...
different cultures makes this world so diverse and so colorful, and traveling is the best way to experience a handful of cultures...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i prefer group meet-ups over food or coffee or few bottles of beer or just simply over anything.
but i am very much open for any possibilities.
i am spontaneous, so, surprise me... hahahaha! kidding aside...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none so far. im a newbie right now... ;-)

Interests

Food!!! Oh, Food... it can simply sweep me off my feet, and can even make me "feet-clap" (if there is such a term...) unconsciously each time i get awestruck with a real good food. i Enjoy Filipino and Thai dishes the most, but i am very much interested of exploring others... korean food and japanese food, oh well, they make my mouth water too... whew...
Travelling, my true passion. i have started traveling since i was young and had been doing "Solo Domestic Travels" since i was 24. my fave destinations? anywhere with a great sea and sands. and the best part of my being a traveler was when i had the opportunity to do Travel Hosting for the Philippines #1 TV Station's Regional Network Group in Cagayan de Oro City for almost 3years... whew!!! very fulfilling...
oh, but for most of the time, i enjoy being with a company of people over coffee, food or beer, or even just anything talking and conversing about anything under the sun. ohhhh! how i so love intellectual conversations, and not being mindful of the time. letting the conversation travel us to wherever while seated in one spot... hahahaha!
LIFE... is so full of surprises. we just have to be prepared to receive any of it and enjoy every bit of it. hehehe

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS: my bookshelf is filled with medical fictions by Tess Gerritsen, Michael Crichton, Stanley Potter, Robin Cook, Michael Palmer, Patricia Cornwell and Erich Segal. but im currently reading a non-medical fiction book for the fist time now, its the LIFE OF PI, and its aweome. i dont even want to end reading the book. its just so good...

MUSIC: i woud say, im very much versatile. i can listen to any music genre, except for the metals, rock and those of such sorts which i personally doesnt consider a music, but a noise rather... hehe.. sorry!!!

MOVIES: anything that is well made. i love the films of tom hanks, leonardo di caprio, dustin hoffman, morgan freeman, robin williams, julia roberts, whoopie golberg, and angelina joli. THAI FILMS like that of mario maurer(for Love of Siam, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and Friendship) and some others. INDIAN FILMS that of Aamir Khan (for Three Idiots and Every Child is Special) and some others like My Name is Khan etc... PHILIPPINE MOVIES only Star Cinema Films and those of Miss Eugene Domingo Films only... hehehehe

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with so many whales sharks in one location not so deep with the sea beds so visible even from the boat in Oslob City Bohol...
Getting and being mesmerized with natures bounty above and under waters in Coron, Palawan...
Travel TV Hosting many different places which i haven't visited before hand. My fave destination i have featured was the entire Surigao del Sur where we visited all of the province's municipalities and featured all its hidden natural wonders. At the time of my first visit Tinuy-an Falls and the Enchanted Rivers were still undeveloped, hence, were still in its most natural state. and oh, the beaches and islets? awesome... Cagwait Beach Cove, Brittania Island, the vanishing sandbars, and many many more. ohhh, and lets not forget the food. the best sea foods ive ever had. sea food every breakfast lunch and dinner. fat crabs, prawns and lobsters of awesome sizes, and the meatiest of fishes. whew... ok il stop. its making me hungry and crave for it now. whew...
Can i just add One more? promise, just one! hahaha! for my best Adrenaline rush adventure ever, i would say its the 50m High Bunjee Jump in Pattaya, Thailand...
~~END~~ ;-)
