This account is for 4 people cause we usually travel together.
Here are descriptions of our interests and passions :)
Iuliia : I don't like tomatoes (and I think it was the thing that made me stand out from the crowd during the selection for the exchange program, it's an interesting story and I'm happy to tell it), I'm fond of design, I like to create collages and post it on Instagram for my 19 subscribers hahaha
Darina : I'm a great fan of movies and sport. Also, I m a cat lover 🐈
Saida: Hey there! I’m Saida from sunny Uzbekistan:) I dance, perform and draw. I’m a big literature lover. I like independent movies and music.
Sofia: Originally, I am from Siberia, Russia. After that I lived and studied in Moscow. I am a bookworm, I like to read books with a cup of coffee. I am into psychology and marketing. I love yoga and meditation. I am passionate about making videos. In America, I became interested in acting. I also really like to travel! I can tell about my travels in France, Spain, Monaco and Russia. And by the way, I really love animals!

Music, Movies, and Books
Iuliia : Lana Del Rey!! Also, I love Bonus ahaha, and random tik tok songs…
Darina : I don’t actually have one favorite music genre. I adore both old stuff like Queen and George Michael and something modern like Maroon 5 or Justin Bieber. As for books, it’s mostly fantasy or action & adventure. My fav movie is the Shawshank Redemption :)
Saida: Indie and Rock are my fav ones! I also like Russian post-punk music and classical music.
There’s some of my favorite movies: Dead poets society, La La Land, Lady Bird, Amelie, Before sunrise, Stalker etc.
Books: The book thief, Crime and punishment, Master and Margarita, The bell jar, Pride and Prejudice
Sofia:
📚I love reading absolutely different genres of books! If we talk about novels, my favorite is Watchers by Dean Koontz. After this book, I dream of having a golden retriever, which I want to name Einstein.
Other books I like are: The Picture of Dorian Gray, Arch of Triumph, Angels and Demons, DA VINCI CODE, Yes to Life: In Spite of Everything, Ogilvy on Advertising, Crime and Punishment, Emotional Intelligence, Master and Margarita ... and others
🎬I love movies of the 2000s, for me they are very atmospheric and soulful. Maybe it's corny, but I really love Men in Black! Now I'm taking a course on different directors, trying to understand more about cinematography. I can share interesting facts I learned about movies!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Iuliia : Idk… it’s a hard question. For now, I would say that I’m in America for my exchange program. I have worked with children with different disabilities, and I am very grateful for this experience, it has changed my “vision” of life.
Darina : Well, I guess the most interesting thing about me is that I’m an adrenaline junkie. I’ve tried skydiving, bungee jumping and I’ve been to all the scariest rollercoasters in Europe. In a nutshell, I’m a bit crazy hahaha
Saida: I won an exchange program and moved to the US
Teach, Learn, Share
Iuliia : Oh, I can teach u Russian and some phrases in Uzbek, because my family is from Uzbekistan. my interest in history is colonization/dictatorship. I love to read how people went through terrible events, because it gives me faith that everything will be fine in my country, because history is a cyclical process)
Darina : I’m getting a degree in English and Spanish so feel free to ask me anything about them. What’s more, I can teach you a lot of Russian cards games.
Saida: I know how to cook pilaf:) I know Uzbek and Russian, I also can introduce you to Russian classic literature, theatre and ballet.
