Hi, I'm Ivan, looking forward to host people who are interested in visiting Arilje, small town located in picturesque region of Western Serbia.
My hometown, Arilje, is one of the smallest towns in this region, famous for clean river of Rzav, beautiful nature, raspberries and textile industry.
I'm entrepreneur, running small company which makes clothes for babies.
I live alone, and I can host up to 2 people. As for me, I would say I'm ordinary person, easy going, open minded, appreciating sense of humor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wanted to be CS host, but, as it happens, things never sorted up, until now. During the studies in Belgrade I spent few years working in a hostel, where I had opportunity to meet a lot of people from all around the world, which was very awarding experience for me. Now, I could do the same. Also, I spent few summers in international volunteer work camps, where I was hosted by local people, which helped me to meet those places in a way that regular tourist couldn't. This is my way to give something back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped (me and hundreds of other people) in returning of bird ibis to its natural habitat of Obedska bara after 40 years of exile.
