One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Always watchful for the next. Always rewarded. (I'm thinking on this topic for the moment.)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm. This I like. My skills are in the realm of homesteading.

My household actively raises chickens mostly for the eggs but occasionally, when the time is right, we kill them for meat. I have passable skills for all phases of chicken raising. And there's much more to learn!

I have a year-round vegetable garden, and a fairly new green house. I'm interested in all aspects of gardening. Food from the Earth is life! I have some food preservation skills. There is always some form of fermentation, processing of vegetables, canning, dehydrating, harvesting going on. I'm a fan of brewing beer and other interesting beverages. I have most equipment and necessary skills.

My occupation and hobbies have been focussed on plants of the garden variety for the last 12 years. Orcharding and perennial cropping are two favorite subjects. I love blueberry cultivation and fruit tree pruning and can teach confidently on these subjects.

I have goats...mostly just for pets and for vegetative matter consumption.

I have dogs and have worked with dogs for my whole life. I understand them (so far) enough to know what they need. There are lots of different schools of training and knowledge here but I can show and teach my own personal philosophies of dog psychology to those who would listen.

Tree climbing! okay, so that's just fun...not really a skill. But, there are many opportunities to practice that here.

Slack roping. That's fun too. But what the heck.

I would like to learn more about: all of the previous subjects! and guitar, singing, song writing. Dance of all forms. More!
