Starting my PhD on Slavonic studies, translating, interpreting, moving from town to town (mainly from northern to southern Moravia, and back again to this northern part). Trying to find my own place and finally hang my window curtains.

Interests

Czech beer, Czech literature, Czech republic. I'm a bit of Czechophile, that's why I live there, but that's definitely not the only state I'm interested in. I like folk music too. I like skiing and, on the other hand, sunbathing. I used to be a girl guide (now I prefer Czech beer). And so on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jim Jarmush movies - especially 'Dead Man' and 'Night on Earth'.
Books - hard thing. Jakub Deml's (Czech controversial catholic priest) work. 'Watership Down' by Richard Adams, probably the best book of my childhood. I must say, I like books in general.
Music - no limits. OK, maybe except extreme techno.
