I'm a PhD physics student from the UK. I've done some travelling before, and I often find that as much as it's about the place you go, it's also about the people you meet along the way - and so I've decided to take up couchsurfing! I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and interests with other people and learning about theirs too.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on CS to meet new people to share my interests with them and vice versa. I believe that the world is actually a nice place (despite everything we hear from the media) and I think staying with some cool people through CS will help confirm that for me!
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan (both the books and the movies). For something a little more down to Earth I normally turn to George Orwell or my favourite fortnightly magazine, Private Eye.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Despite having a fear of heights, I went bungee jumping off a crane (and managed not to wet myself).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some juggling tricks and a little bit about the physics universe around us.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share an enthusiasm for stories about life experiences (both listening to and telling them). I'm happy to do some cooking, though I'm much better at eating food than making it!
