Overview
About Me
Hello! A little about me - I’m an avid skydiver, triathlete, and backpacker/hiker. I am a former Eagle Scout and Division 1 athlete. I frequently hike trails wherever I happen to be.
When I was in college, I traveled alone to Europe for one summer and Australia for another summer. I made countless new friends through hostels, couchsurfing, and by staying with friends from college who reside in the various countries I visited. I love exploring and meeting new people.
Since college, I’ve been known by my friends as being “that guy who sleeps on the floor” as I’m constantly traveling around the States to visit them and keep our relationships alive. I’m no stranger to austere conditions and very self sufficient.
I have some crazy stories and videos from traveling around the nation jumping out of airplanes that I’d be happy to share with you in our stay!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love couchsurfing because of the relationships you can develop with strangers who are really just undiscovered friends. The trust involved in hosting and sharing experiences with each other really inspires me to grow as a person.
While I am relatively young on the community with regards to references (most of my stays have been with people who don’t have couchsurfing), I’m happy to provide my handles and FaceTime if need be. I'll be building my profile out throughout my travels!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very exploitative with my taste in music; for expample, I attended Defqon One in Amsterdam with my friend to see what hardstyle music was like!
The Hyperion Cantos by Dan Simmons is my top book series by far - I recommend it to everyone I meet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been to 40 States and moved 11 times. After seeing so much of the US, I went on solo ultralight backpacking trips during my summer breaks. One summer I went to New Zealand and Australia, and another summer I traveled Europe for two months.
My most recent stay was with a kind couple in upstate NY who hosted me while I did a 70.3 Ironman triathlon! It was a blast of an event and I’m very grateful to the couple for hosting me.
