Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend of mine had some success on CS, and I decided to give it a try.

Languages, anything outdoors (hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, etc), ballroom dance, history (local and national).

At the moment I'm mad about long-distance cycling/camping -- ask about my plans for a "Tour d'Angleterre"! ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt. Fuji overnight and saw the sun rise from the top. It was absolutely stunning.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach -- English, basic partner dancing (waltz, salsa, bachata, East Coast swing, a very little bit of tango!)
Learn -- Other languages
Share -- A delicious dark chocolate cake recipe, songs sung in the street under the stars.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very neat/tidy sort of person, and am willing to help out with housework/cooking/baking in thanks for your generosity.

In the spirit of the old troubadours, I would gladly trade story for story and song for song. :)
