ABOUT ME

My name is Jaqueline but simply call me Jacky. I'm an open-minded person and really curious learning more about other cultures and nationalities. I have always one or two open ears to listen to all the interesting stories of other people which they have already experienced in their life. I was travelling for 8 months which where the best 8 months in my life and I gained a lot of amazing life-experiences. When you ones start travelling you don´t want to stop it anymore. And you realize that the world is a big planet with thousands of hidden places which are there to explore. But in the life of traveling I recognized the world as a small planet because I always met people twice by chance. From little on my biggest dream was to live in the beautiful city Hamburg. I fulfilled this dream by starting studying "Food chemistry". But it turned out not to be the greatest course of studies. With changing the course of studies I changed the city to Giessen. There I dicided doing something for our environment by studying environmental management.
I like doing a lot of sports. First I started with athletics for a couple of years, I continued with Taekwondo, be careful what you are doing..I tried a little bit of Tennis and than I ended up with playing volleyball. I like doing adventurous mountain bike tours. But actually I am up for every different sort of sport. I like going for a run especially in places I don´t know. Because than you get to know to the area very quickly.
I enjoy hanging out with friends drinking one or two glasses of wine with a great atmosphere like sitting around a bonfire or at the beautiful lake of constance (there´s my hometown) having fun and going out. I am more the spontaneous person because those activities are the most unforgetable moments.
Due to the reason that I am living very close to the beautiful lake of constance I like sitting at the lake with some friends on summer nights.
I love traveling and I can't wait to see more of this world!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experiences with my father. He introduced me to this amazing community. I made a couple of couchsurfing experiences in Australia and Vietnam. I met a lot of nice, open-minded, funny, great, amazing, crazy..people. While you are traveling it is so great to know that you are welcome in another house. I was traveling in a country which I didn´t know but I had the feeling that I wasn´t alone because of all the couchsurfing friends :) My first couchsurfer was in Australia we had a lot of fun, had great evenings sitting on his balcony, talking and sharing all our travel and life experiences with the other couchsurfer who stayed there as well.

Interests

As I already said I'm interested in meeting people and learning more about other cultures. Australia was my first big step into the amazing world of traveling and I can't wait to see more. It was like opening a little door for me.
I also like listening to good music, especially when there is someone who is able to play guitar. I really like to learn playing this amazing instrument.
I am always fascinated what music can do with our emotions.
Furthermore, I am interested in looking at good photographies and I really like to take good pictures and to learn more about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every kind of music, reggae, ska, house, electro, punk, alternative rock....like Sublime, bob marley, patrice or deichkind, tracy chapman,...It always depends on the situation or on my mood.

I can watch every kind of movie. But I prefer more the stories which are based on real stories.
The pursuit of happiness, the last king of Scotland, blood diamond,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The traffic in Hanoi! There are no rules everything works without the crazy rules. When you are in the traffic you can feel the magic, you are in the flow.. that was amazing.
