About Me

I love to discover other cities and have thought about using couch-surfing for a while now. As the year 2018 brought about several changes in my life - one of which is a perfect new flat to share with world-travelers - I committed myself to go through with it in 2019. I want to meet exciting people from all over the world and hear their stories.
I am passionate about live-music (playing guitar and piano), sports (playing floor-ball and soccer) and social

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be part of a community which shows people new places like a local - anytime I was travelling, the experience was much better with people from the area.
Likewise, I would love to host travellers and contribute to an awesome experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is split between rock and electronic (also hip-hop, not minimal though). Depending on mood I can also go really trashy with chart-/party music ;)
Favorite bands include Metallica, Offspring, Trivium, CCR and the Beatles.

I've read too many good books to pick one, but the Adler-Olson series is pretty amazing, as it narrates so many parallel sub-stories, that sometimes even go beyond single episodes.

Love Films with plot-twists. Recently re-watched Saw and realised how good it is (didn't need the splatter elements though). More a series-guy: 24, Homeland, Dexter, Breaking Bad

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Exchange Semester in Toronto, where I lived in a student home with 5 other students from the area. Everyday was a blast and never again have I been so integrated in a lovely place like that city. I still hang out with people from there, even though 7 years have past and there are more than 6000 KM between ;)
Likewise, my exchange semester in Amsterdam was also a great experience, but I feel that Erasmus (the european big-scale exchange programm) does not promote exchange to locals that well - but the city is amazing and I still met life-time friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what is meant by this, but I can share some insights from the corporate world, from the supporters scene of European football and from playing music in an organised setting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My friends love me for bringing joy to any conversation. But I am also smart and clever and can judge many situations with reason and calmness.
I am a really clean and quite person and like to contribute to comfort.
