Overview
About Me
I am the epitome of a nerd. I love board games and literally code and do ultra geeky stuff all day long. As awesome as computers are, I also love to spend my evenings getting out and being active by playing a game of volleyball, freezing my fingers off on a winter run, or just going for a late night walk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, and I'm always excited to meet new people. It just sounds like so much more of an adventure to go and stay at someones place instead of crashing at a hotel. Plus, I'd much rather pay extra for awesome local cuisine and adventures instead of a pricey hotel. Plus, I think it's super cool to have people from around the world come and visit me. Kind of a chance to see a sliver of someplace far away without having to leave your own home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love any type of music with the exception of screamo. I always feel uncomfortable when my music sounds more like a violent manslaughter than an artistic melody. Seems impolite to play in public, and earbuds are just annoying.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are literally only two things you need to do when doing an IAD skydiving jump. (This is assuming you chute doesn't decide it wants to kill you that day...) You need to turn the parachute so you don't hit anything like a power line, and right before you hit the ground, you need to flare your chute to slow down. I got the turning down fine. The second part not so much. It was epic and totally worth doing, just remember to flare your darn chute before you go smashing into a cornfield. :D
I'm also an avid runner, and once convinced a friend to go on a two do 34 mile round trip run through a wolf and bear infested woods. It almost set a record low in August, and me and my friend shivered through the night trading off my emergency sleeping bag to stay alive. Worst part was that we never actually saw anything larger then a rabbit.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Milwaukee is pretty close. There's are loads of festivals and activities that go on in area. Plus there are a number of pretty cool hiking and biking trails.
