ABOUT ME

I am a rainbow of many qualities I think! Of course that also applies to the, "not so good qualities"!

The good things? I'm kind, caring, hilarious as well as incredibly modest! Bad things, an appalling sense of direction, no common sense and an ability to cause offence to most living things!

Generally however, I am completely harmless and the good things far outweigh the bad!

PHILOSOPHY

My father always taught me that if you can go to bed every night with a clear conscience then you're doing ok. I just try and be as honest as I can with the people around me and hope that they will accept me. I am a big believer in fate and things happening for a reason and that karma does exist. Material things don't bring me pleasure, sure, a few quid in the back pocket is always handy but really, my happiness comes from my peace of mind. Accepting who you are and just being yourself is my idea of success, also to accept others as they are, not to judge. Our shoes all tell different stories. I know that I have a good heart and am true to myself, so I am happy that this will guide me in the right direction.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in the Scottish Highlands with an interesting couple!!!

I hosted a French lady for 4 night travelling through China.

I stayed with a beautiful person in Koh Samui.

Lots of coffees with lots of people different folk

I have met some of my most cherished people through this site, so thank you.

I am still discovering what makes me tick, but I love to walk and laugh with friends. I enjoy cooking and being outdoors. Camping, fires, good people. I feel at my best with the simple pleasures I enjoy. I'm searching for that one love that I can really put my energy in to, as I have dabbled with many things but just never found a real passion for something which frustrates me a little!

The one that springs to mind is a French film called the "intouchables". My kind of humor, although I'm not sure it is supposed to be a comedy!
Music and books...I'm afraid i'm one of those "I listen to everything" girls! I enjoy live music a lot but don't really care too much about genre, I guess I change the music to the mood I'm in, or change my mood to suit the music! I used to love reading when I was younger, I don't do it enough now. One book I actually finished and remember is George Orwell's 1984.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Passing my driving test was a big one for me and getting a distinction in my first year of uni. Going back to school after so long was/is a real challenge. Also climbing Mount Vichren in Bulgaria, Bungee jumping in Macau, Sky diving in the UK and Paragliding in Philippines :) I'm sure this stuff makes me sound way cooler than I actually am haha.

What I can teach you. I can teach you to smile at yourself and to not take the things you have for granted. I can accept you and build your confidence and make you feel welcome, my home is your home.
What can I learn? Anything and everything! Every day is a school day!
