Salaam! I'm Jafar, desert Lord from one of the largest indigenous tribes in Southern Jordan - Howeitat . My grandfather took a part in Great Arab Revolt with Lawrence of Arabia. In addition to being a desert tour guide operating in Wadi Rum for more than a decade also a certified scuba diving master, an emergency first responder, a Kasat Hawa (hijama) expert and the great and the most modest outdoors chief.

I'm doing crazy and moderate Jeep-Trips in Wadi Rum and build a caravan-serai, a self-sustinable place connected to nature. We combine Bedouin traditional values, know-how and experience with modern-day life - it's an ongoing experiment in living simply - uncluttered by most of the things we used to fill our lives with, leaving space for what really matters - come to take a part!

I'm looking for people who are passionate about taking care of the earth and about finding ways to keep our existence in nature pure. It could be volunteers or people who would like to found a community.
