About Me
Hey,
Not sure what to say, but I'm a young guy who is interested in traveling more at this point in life. I have a deep love of meeting awesome and bizarre strangers also, so this site made sense.
I've lived in small towns in Iowa and Minnesota all my life, but I'm kind of a black sheep. Blue collar mentality with larger than life interests. I try to be a renaissance man, with interests including football, art, playing guitar, robotics, and all things nerdy. I do my best to treat every person I meet with respect, even when I don't receive it in turn.
I would love to hang out or get to know you, stranger.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Like most others, I would assume, I want to get out and absorb new cultures and experiences, and I have a pension for meeting interesting characters when I'm about. Hoping that carries over to the internet.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: so many things. Not much pop, country or rap (unless you're talking the old school stuff), love indie music, blues, funk, some metal, ska, bluegrass, classical. My favorite bands incluse Weezer, Every Time I Die, Funkadelic, Dawes, and so many more. Eclectic.
Movies: Big fan of epics. Huge Star Wars and Lord of the Rings fan. Pirates of the Caribbean, most Marvel movies, and more. A little bit nerdy.
Books: Nerdy again. Anything by JRR Tolkien, the Wheel of Time series, a lot of high fantasy interests.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been zip lining in Mexico, and I am absolutely terrified of heights most of the time. Facing fears can be exhilarating.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I try to inject everything I do with at least a subtle layer of comedy because laughing together is one of the best shared experiences to be found wherever you might be. I love intellectual conversation, and I might be able to play you a song or two if you have any instruments lying around.
