I don't watch movies often, but I do have a few favorite directors. Anything by Tarkovsky, Paul Thomas Anderson, Clint Eastwood and Lars Von Trier is right up my alley.

Favorite authors include Cormac McCarthy, Hemingway and David Foster Wallace. I also enjoy poetry: "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg, "Ithaka" by C.P. Cavafy and "Ulysses" by Tennyson are my favorites.

My taste in music generally centers on classic rock and Americana. Jason Isbell and Bob Dylan are staples of my listening routine. I also enjoy Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Derek and The Dominoes, Pink Floyd, Justin Townes Earle, Ryan Adams, and Otis Redding. Many other artists as well, but I find that the majority of my listening is focused on the artists that I have listed.

Hitchhiked in the American West, as well as traveled all throughout the Southwest via car. I've met all sorts of fascinating people, have seen all manner of beautiful places and hope to do it till I am gone.
