ABOUT ME
I 24 years old, I am a certified outdoor guide trained in canoeing, abseiling, hiking, navigation, canyoning and overnight camping. I like to travel to many destinations where I can do all of these things. If you have any recommendations, please fill me in!
I live with my mother, father and older brother about 20km from Sydney city. Our location is great if you plan on staying in NSW for an extended time. (Two weeks or more) it is a typical suburban area with not much to do but a few pretty parks around.
if you wish to see another side of the blue mountains that a lot of foreigners don't see, I can take you to some rural sites that was once home to the aboriginal people, we can go caving and canyoning although this will be about a two hour drive so it may cost up to $60 in petrol that we can split. I also have a sister that lives 3 hours away in Bathurst who we like to visit every now and then.
What I love about couchsurfing is meeting all sorts of people with different background and learning about their ways of life. I have a dream to live in a fully self sustainable home and hopefully open up a hostel or Airbnb to introduce others to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
I have found that couch surfing has taught me a lot about the people I have stayed with and their local cultures. I have had an amazing experience and met countless people that have helped me through my travels. I will give the same experience when I am back home in Sydney, my house has a spare room with a bed and is available to anyone at most times. (When the rest of my family agrees to have a guest)
Wifi is available. Mum usually cooks dinner for us most nights with vegetarian options included!Feel free to message me, if I am not available for hosting, I would still love to show you my beautiful state.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have travelled around using couchsurfing more so in other countries than at home. I can host when my family is prepared for guests to stay with us but often we are very busy or are not at home. I plan to build my own place in the near future and plan to have guests rolling in and out of my home as I want to give back to the world what the world has given me.
I usually travel alone and walk everywhere. I don't actually own a phone so it is important to make prior preparations before leaving my last known wifi connection. (I travel only with an iPod touch with GPS)
I can host you (when all family members agree) and take you around to some of my favourite spots outside the poplar City areas. Treasure hunting/geocaching is my favourite thing to do in my spare time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My most recent achievements have been riding a bicycle for 600km from Tokyo to Osaka. It took me 9 days, sleeping on the streets because I never knew where I would end up at the end of the day. I have also been on a 7 hour hike to the top of Yellow Mountain in Huangshan, China with all my overnight gear strapped to my back. NO BREAKS INCLUDES! We got to the top to see storm clouds rolling over the mountain tops in the distance heading our way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach english to anyone that needs some practice. I would love to learn your language however I am focusing on Portuguese and Japanese at this moment (not smart to learn two languages at once) and I can share my stories from all over the world, my local Australian cuisine (just eggs on toast) that is all I can cook right now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer treasure hunts around your own town!
