Hello!

I am an 18-year-old student from Mladá Boleslav, Czech republic, a beautiful town next to Prague! This year I have won the Discover EU initiative and won an Interrail ticket for trains all over Europe. And because this way of travel should be also about meeting new people and learning about countries and cultures, I decided I wanna couchsurf and created an account! :-)

I really like history and I currently I have a part-time sort of "job" to record memories of witnesses of 20th century (especially the Nazi and Communism era). Last year I joined the Youth Council in my town and it´s a great experience, doing amazing stuff for the local community and learning so much along the way.

I love traveling and I am excited to travel on my own for the first time. I am looking for local experience as well as classic main sights. I hope we get to know each other and have a great time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said I have won the Interrail tickets, which means I will travel for 7 days and visit Venice, Tuscany, Paris and Reims/Champagne area. I think that Couchsurfing is a great project because you can make new friends and experience much more than staying in a hotel. That´s why I recently created an account and I am looking for this!

I hope that one day I will get a flat and I will be able to host too. Now I can however at least tell you about great places in Czech republic and Prague and maybe take you for a walk through Prague :-)
