Overview
About Me
We are Jakub and Basia, an extraordinary couple from Warsaw and Białowieska Forest. Jakub is a Balkan expert (or Slavic scientist), in his free time he does various research, goes for conferences, talks too much about everything in too many languages. Too many languages is never enough so he keeps adding new ones. On the other hand, Basia is a creative soul, aspiring artist, working as a teacher of Polish for foreigners online. She has recently so many students that she considers opening a language school. She is a warm-hearted person who sees beauty everywhere and in everyone. In her free time she paints portraits and flowers, knits scarfs, practices yoga and dances.
We are quite busy as we both work online but we are happy to host people and socialise during evenings and weekends. When we have time and energy we cook fancy food, invite friends, organise parties and pub quizzes or go for spontaneous trips.
If you can organise your time during the day, like Turkish tea and/or coffee and sleep on a cosy mattress feel free to drop us a message :)
